A Modern Vision of Structural Engineering
The Eurocodes are far more than a regulatory corpus: they provide a framework designed to foster exchange at the European scale, integrate scientific advances, and enable both analysis and optimization. L‑SA fully embraces this dynamic, with a practice that is demanding, creative, and open-minded.
The Founder
A graduate engineer from École Centrale Paris (2004) with a Master's degree in structural dynamics and coupled systems, I began my career in the automotive industry, where I spent several years working on calculation methodologies in dynamic vehicle modelling.
I then moved into the building and civil engineering sector, where I spent thirteen years within a major construction group before managing a multi-disciplinary engineering agency for five years.
This background enables me today to work with the same level of rigor on advanced calculation issues, constructive optimization, and the interface between design, execution, and research.
Three Complementary Pillars
Engineering: operational support (diagnosis, design, execution, site assistance), technical management, training, R&D.
Software: continuous development of tools for structural optimization (piles, high-rise shear walls, composite slabs…) and physical analysis (non-linearities, deformations, shrinkage…).
OpenLAB: an open platform dedicated to the structural engineering community for documenting, sharing, and progressing together.
These three pillars enable L‑SA to act as an independent technical partner at the crossroads of design, execution, and innovation.
